Investment casting, also known as "wax loss casting". Design and process a mold according to the customer's product requirements, press the wax material into the mold to form a product wax mold, bond it with the gate cup and gate wax mold to form a wax tree, coat the surface of the wax tree with multiple layers of refractory slurry and sand material to form a shell, heat and melt the wax material in the shell, and then pour the metal liquid into the shell that has been high-temperature roasted. After the metal liquid solidifies and cools, it is processed through post-processing methods such as cutting and cleaning to finally obtain the required castings. Compared with other casting processes, it has a wide range of applicable materials, a complex product structure, high surface roughness, and high dimensional accuracy, and can be processed with little or no processing. It is an advanced process of near net forming.
