What are the requirements of the factory for cutting tools
A fluorescent light casing is a fixture designed to hold and protect fluorescent tubes or lamps while providing a diffused, even light output. The casing can be made of various materials such as plastic or metal, depending on the design.
What are the requirements of the factory for cutting tools
In CNC machining, the quality of products and labor productivity in factories are largely constrained by cutting tools. Although the cutting principle of CNC turning is basically the same as that of ordinary lathes, due to the requirements of CNC machining characteristics, special treatment must be given to the shape of the cutting tool, especially the geometric parameters of the cutting part, in order to meet the processing requirements of CNC lathes and fully utilize the benefits of CNC lathes. Pay attention to the requirements of CNC lathes for cutting tools
(1) Requirements of CNC lathes for cutting tools
1. High intensity. In order to adapt to the large cutting depth and fast feed of cutting tools during rough machining or machining of parts with high hardness materials, it is required that the cutting tools must have high strength; For slender tool holders (such as deep hole turning tools), they should also have good anti vibration performance.
2. High precision. In order to meet the requirements of high precision and automatic tool changing in CNC machining, both the tool and its holder must have high precision.
3. High cutting and feed rates. To improve production efficiency and meet the needs of some special processing, cutting tools should be able to meet the requirements of high cutting speed. When using polycrystalline diamond composite cutting tools to machine glass or carbon fiber composite materials, the cutting speed can reach over 100m/min.
4. High reliability. In order to ensure that the smooth progress of CNC machining is not affected by unexpected tool damage and potential defects, it is required that the tools and accessories combined with them must have good reliability and strong adaptability.
5. High service life. The continuous wear of cutting tools during the cutting process can cause changes in machining dimensions. Along with the wear of cutting tools, the cutting edge (or tip) can become dull, increasing cutting resistance. This not only greatly reduces the surface accuracy of the machined part, but also exacerbates tool wear, forming a vicious cycle. Therefore, the cutting tools in CNC lathes, whether in rough machining, precision machining, or special machining, should have a higher service life than those used in ordinary lathe machining, in order to minimize the number of tool replacements or grinding and tool alignment, thereby ensuring the machining quality of parts and improving production efficiency. Tools with a long service life should complete at least 1-2 shifts of machining.
Good chip cutting and chip removal performance. The effective performance of chip breaking and removal is of great significance to ensure the smooth and safe operation of CNC lathes.
