In actual production, not every die-casting machine can meet the needs of various die-casting products, and it must be selected according to specific situations. Generally, the following two aspects should be considered:

1) Select according to different varieties and batches

When organizing multi variety and small batch production, it is generally necessary to choose a die-casting machine with a simple hydraulic system, strong adaptability, and the ability to adjust quickly. When organizing small variety and large-scale production, it is necessary to choose a high-efficiency die-casting machine equipped with various mechanized and automated control mechanisms; For castings produced in large quantities of a single variety, specialized die-casting machines can be used.

2) Select according to casting structure and process parameters

The dimensions, weight, wall thickness, and other parameters of the casting shape have a significant impact on the selection of a die-casting machine.

The weight of the casting (including the pouring system and overflow groove) should not exceed the rated capacity set by the die casting machine, but it should also not be too small to avoid wasting the power string of the die casting machine. The rated capacity of a general die-casting machine can be found in the manual.

Die-casting machines have certain maximum and minimum distances, so there must be a certain limit to the thickness of the die and the height of the casting. If the thickness of the die or the height of the casting is too large, it may not be possible to remove the casting.
