Deep hole turning is different from general turning. By installing a deep hole boring head on the drill rod, rough and fine turning can be performed. The boring head and drill rod are connected by threads, and the structure of the boring head.
To prevent deformation and vibration of the tool holder due to excessive overhang, there are guide blocks before and after the boring head. The guide blocks can be made of wood, copper, cast iron, hard alloy, or other materials. Before drilling, a guide hole should be machined to coincide with the axis of rotation.
